Section 3 - Conguration

USB Storage

Displays the amount of free space on the USB

storage device.

Displays the total capacity of USB storage.

Displays if the DLNA Media Server is enabled or

disabled.

Displays the name of the DLNA Media Server as it

appears to other devices on the network.

Displays if SharePort is enabled or disabled.

For more information on DLNA and SharePort

settings, refer to “SharePort/Storage Sharing” on

page 38.

If you have a USB Storage device attached to the DIR-508L, click

on the USB Storage icon on the Home page to view the USB

Storage details.

Status:

From the Home page, you can see if you are connected to a USB storage device. The USB Storage icon will be blue when you

are currently connected.
